Delhi Metro is a world-class metro. DMRC conducts recruitment for Junior Engineers in fields of Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil , Station Controllers, SSA and many more posts. DMRC conducts their exams at least once in year for all post. Diploma/Degree in Respective field are the essential qualification for engineering post . As you all know I am related to engineering field so in this post I explains about engineering field. 
For the post of Jr.Engineers (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Civil), the selection methodology will comprise three-stage process –

i) Written Test (two papers).
ii) Personal Interview.
iii) Medical examination.

The written test will consist of two papers
( Paper-I and Paper-II, to be held on the same day in the same center) . Paper I will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions and Paper -II will consist of subjective type questions.
Paper-I will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions, on below stated subjects.

  3. English ( Around 20 question)
  4. Subject Knowledge ( Around 60 question)
Paper-II will consist of subjective type questions on Paragraph Writing, Comprehension, Essay and questions on Science &Technology matter, in English Medium to judge the candidate’s comprehension skills & test of English language.

Study for government job
Practice is the main secret in competitive exam for success. Every exam have different syllabus. You should first decide in which field you want to make career. Your education qualification helps to take a decision .After this you search syllabus and related reference book for that post. You have to start your preparation With Time Table according to your syllabus. Go for coaching if possible to maintain a discipline towards time table and preparation but it is not mandatory you can do it by self study and self confidence.  If you learn any concept, you have to do lot of practice.

Additional Government Job Preparation Tips:

1.       Do not be pressure. Always smile.
2.       Do the meditation at least 10 minutes per a day. Listening music.
3.      Go to running or Morning walk that improve your Zeal about exam.
4.      Often take more water 6 liters for a day.
5.      Make time table and Time table should be clear and must be accepted by you.
6.      You have to take minimum 6 hours for sleep, rest makes man effectively to work entire day.
7.      You have to find that how many hours you have in a day without coaching classes or college timing or job timing, for remaining hours you have to make time table.
8.      You have find that which section is very hard to you. You have spent a more time for that difficult section. You must maintain Discipline.

Syllabus and Book of BSNL TTA Exam

The standard of paper in BSNL TTA Exam will be such as may be expected of an engineering diploma holder. The standard of papers in other subjects will approximately be that of Diploma level of an Indian polytechnic. Question paper consist 200 question and you can solve them in 3 hours.

There shall be three section of exam as per details given below:

General ability test: 90 marks
Basic Engineering: 90 marks
Specialization: 90 marks


Detailed Syllabus of BSNL TTA Exam

General Ability Test : 20 Marks

The candidate’s comprehension and understanding of General English shall be tested through simple exercises such as provision of antonyms and synonyms, fill in the blanks and multiple choice exercises etc. This shall also include questions on current events, general knowledge and such matters of everyday observation and experience as may be expected of an educated person.

Basic Engineering : 90 Marks

1. Applied Mathematics: Co-ordinate Geometry; Vector Algebra; Matrix and Determinant: Differential Calculus and Integral Calculus: Differential equation of second order: Fourier Series; Laplace Transform; Complex Number; Partial Differentiation.

2. Applied Physics: Measurement – Units and Dimensions; Waves, Acoustics, Ultrasonic; Light; Laser and its applications; Atomic Structure and Energy Levels.

3. Basic Electricity: Electrostatics, Coulomb’s Law, Electric field, Gauss’s Theorem, concept of potential difference; concept of capacitance and capacitors; Ohm’s law, power and energy, Kirchhoff’s voltage, current laws and their applications in simple DC circuits; Basic Magnetism; Electro Magnetism: Electromagnetic induction; concept of alternating voltage & current; Cells and Batteries; Voltage and Current Sources; Thevenin’s theorem, Norton’s theorem and their applications.
